From Whispers to Hurricanes

This is an excerpt from the weekly News-Loveletter. If you would like it sent to your inbox directly (with all the other juicy bits, including a mini joy practice), you can add yourself to my mailing list here.

Wind is a big changer-upper. It’s the spirit of change with a force that can scatter trees.

Usually, the chaos is lower key. Waving limbs and leaves aflutter. A sheaf of papers lifted and tossed from our picnic table. My hair strewn in all directions.

Wind can topple and wind can uplift. Its strength is exhilarating. Last weekend, Leo and I walked on the beach with gusts at 70 miles per hour. Memorable.

Our feelings about wind depend largely on our preparedness and flexibility.

Change is inevitable. Chaos and the unexpected play crucial roles in creativity. When we co-create together, there are always surprises. Right?

Those surprises tickle our emotions—joy, excitement, embarrassment, frustration. What tornadoes can arise within our hearts! The most elemental human experience can uplift or destroy, according to our readiness.

How will we work with these emotions to co-create with all who join us?

The answers to these questions shape our lives.

How confident are you in steering your vessel to catch the updraft? Will the wind fill your sails or take out the relationships near and dear to you?

Even the doldrums can damage. There’s nothing worse than boredom.

Our ability to feel, really feel, our emotions is paramount to communication and co-creation. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see the wind coming and know that you're set to sail?

The Joyful Communication Introductory Workshop can help you build that sailing vessel. For free.

Friends, isn’t it time you felt confident about turning into the wind, facing those tender conversations with loved ones? Authentically. Joyfully.

Are you ready for more meaning, harmony, and understanding in all your relationships?

This is your chance. Come build with us. Let’s find the uplift. Together.
